The will of Greymon X.

Previously:
Kaito along with Agumon X were on their way to the DSM Building they had been side tracked by the digimon Dokugumon a champion level. Dokugumon had captured humans and cocooned them as harvest for energy. Kaito and Agumon X were followed by a girl named Cynthia along with her digimon partner Gabumon X who finished the battle freezing Dokugumon into small data particles. Afterwards Cynthia and Kaito had a bad start for introduction until Coronamon came in time.

So what’s next for our heroes?


Behind the DSM Building-

The children and the digimon managed to arrive without anyone seeing the digimon. Though Cynthia and Kaito still were at odds with one another after battling Dokugumon.

Coronamon had explained to Kaito and Agumon X, that Cynthia and the other children had received their digimon partners a week before and that’s why they managed to get their digimon to digivolve to their champion forms. This gave Kaito a better understanding of Cynthia’s disappointment knowing he and Agumon X would have to try to do the same.

Tsuki, her brother Hiroyuki, with their digimon along with Minoru, and his newly evolved digimon Yaksamon were all waiting for Kaito and Agumon X.

“Well look who finally decided to show, Kobayashi you’re late.” Tsuki scolded.

Kaito laughed apologetically, “Yeah ha…ha funny story about that...”

Hiroyuki ran with Candlemon at his side up to Kaito pulling his arm, “Kaito it’s really good to see you guys again!” Hiroyuki said cheerfully.

“Same here Hiroyuki I hope you guys stayed out of trouble.” Kaito said.

Candlemon hopped closer to Hiroyuki with a smirked, “Don’t worry we have, well at least I have.”

Impmon crossed his arms as he stood in front of Tsuki with a look of disbelief, “Yeah right, you almost burned down the shrine again… This morning...”

“Shut it Imp… “Candelmon’s flame said in defense.

Impmon and Candelmon gave a deadly stair as Tsuki tried to break them up. Hiroyuki looked at Kaito while they were distracted with the others. Noticing that Kaito had been upset about something.

Eventually Impmon and Candelmon settled down and Minoru started to get the group back on track.

“Well we're glad you’re here, Lunamon and the others are here, so they'll be here shortly.” Minoru smiled.

Kaito noticed Minoru’s digimon and widened his eyes noticing the size of this digimon.

“Wait Minoru is that Kotemon!?” Kaito questioned.

Minoru looked beside him at his digimon partner, Yaksamon.

“Oh I forgot to tell you Kotemon digivolved to his champion level when we were on our way to my father's company. Say hello Yaksamon.” Minoru said.

“Hello Kaito, Agumon X and friends it's nice seeing you all.” Yaksamon greeted formally.

“Well at least he's got manners.” Tsuki said looking at Agumon X eating more snacks.

Kaito started thinking of Agumon X as he looked on at his best friend and his partner, “Wow so Minoru really did it, his digimon digivolved already. Maybe Cynthia is right I have been reckless on handling this situation even though I am doing my best to help out."  

Kaito looked at Agumon X who smiled at Kaito, as they got closer to the others.

"Wait no what am I saying it's only been a few days already a week now to be exact and this whole thing has gone by to fast so maybe Agumon X will have his turn.”
Kaito shook his head a little and looked at the digimon together, while they interacted.

“Kaito is something the matter?” Hiroyuki asked in a low voice.

“What, no why do you ask?” Kaito replied.

“Oh well you seem a little out of it.” Hiroyuki replied.

“Don’t worry about it; it’s just been a long day.” Kaito said with a small smile.

"Ah hem... Kaito." Cynthia started to signal Kaito tapping his sholder.

"Oh yeah sorry... guys on my way over here I ran into one of the tamers that Lunamon mentioned and Coronamon." Kaito started to say.

Cynthia proceeded to introduce herself, Gabumon X, and Coronamon to the others.

“Hello I'm Cynthia Alexander and this is Gabumon X we're pleased to make your acquaintance.” Cynthia bowed traditionally.

“Yes it’s a pleasure.” Gabumon X added.

They all returned the greeting with a smile and bow.

“The pleasure is ours and as I said before your two other friends Zack, and Angelina, along with Lunamon and their digimon should be here shortly.” Minoru said.

“The name's Coronamon, one of the digimon sent here to find help.” Coronamon introduced himself proudly.

“So you’re the other one huh, you better start filling us in and what you want with us.” Impmon replied impatiently.

“Impmon... don't be rude.”  Tsuki scolded.

“No it's fine you guys need to know anyway because it's an issue that's escalated real badly.” Coronamon replied.

Moments later

Angelina and the digimon came with food, and her boyfriend Zack had joined as they finally appeared.

Kaito and the others saw Zack as a tall short dark haired person with brown eyes, wearing black sweat jacket with blue jeans and black sun glasses. This kind of threw them off a little because he seemed not too talkative.

"We're here and we brought snacks for everyone, right guys!" Angelina greeted happily.
The two Salmon's along with Lunamon ran towards the other digimon with joy and smiled at everyone.

"Yeah so come get some!" Zack's Salmon said.

Agumon X mouth watered grossing out Kaito, Cynthia, and the other children. But Angelina and Zack smiled as Zack nods with silence.

"Oh great the snacks are here race you Yaksamon, and Gabumon X!" Agumon X cheered.

"Hold on a moment... don't rush." Yaksamon said.

"Coming!" Gabumon X replied cheerfully.

The digimon readied them-selves and raced toward Angelina and Zack who were prepared for the stampede. The digimon indulged on the food savoring every bite.

“Oh this is tasty!” Agumon X savored the bento box he was eating.

“Hey don’t hog everything!” Impmon said trying to grab from Agumon’s portion.

“Oh dear…” Yaksamon said calmly looking at the others.

“There’s plenty so enjoy!” Angelina’s Salamon said handing out more food.

“Thank you Salamon.” Gabumon X replied.

Candelmon jumped in trying to grab the remaining amount from Impmon but, Impmon started to guard his food. Both digimon stared down at one another and then started to fight each other.

This embarrassed both Abe siblings’ seeing their digimon fight for food.

“Good thing we ate our portion before coming here…” Zack’s Salamon remarked.

“Yes, you and your sister were right this would happen.” Lunamon added with embarrassed chuckle.

The others looked on and smiled at the digimon were enjoying themselves. Kaito noticed Zack and Angelina with their digimon. Soon he remembered seeing Angelina the day before.

"Hey Minoru that girl next to the guy isn't that the girl we saw at the park the other day?" Kaito questioned.

"I believe so, Tsuki told me that day Angelina was participating in a karaoke charity event. The guy she's with, his name is Zack he's the oldest out of this group eight-teen years old,  he is the son of a top employee in the U.S. branch of my father’s company. Zack maybe the quiet type but he's really intelligent in computers much like myself." Minoru explained.

"So you know him?" Kaito surprised.

"Yes Zack's father is one of the highest paid and co-owns the U.S. branch of the company so you can say our families know each other very well.

“Hi Zack and Angelina, I'm Kaito Kobayashi.” Kaito greeted walking toward them.

“Hello I’m Angelina Diaz and this is my boyfriend Zack Du and these are our Salamon’s.” Angelina said happily.

Zack stood silent and bowed with a small smile not saying a word, while his Salamon was on his head.

Kaito, Tsuki, and Hiroyuki, were curious of Zack’s shyness of speaking. But, the others Angelina, Minoru, and Cynthia knew Zack was a shy person.

“He's not much of a talker but he's glad to meet you guys.” Zack’s Salamon answered for him.

Coronamon walked over to Lunamon as they began to prepare for what they were going to reveal to the children and their digimon. The group gathered around them in the back of the building as Coronamon began to speak.

“As you guys know you all were selected through a survey that everyone around the world also participated. But, only the selected few that answered properly were chosen and given digimon.” Coronamon spoke.

Lunamon continued on, “Currently the digital world is in danger and being taken over by a digimon named Daemon and his followers. His top warriors the gold and silver siblings Kinkakumon and Ginkakumon have already started terrorizing and hurting the digimon and pretty soon they’ll come here for sure when they catch wind of digimon coming to the human world.” Lunamon explained.

Coronamon hopped onto a box near the dumpster and continued, “We were sent here in order to gather you guys together and assemble a team to counter act Daemon’s forces. Our king in the digital world felt we needed outside help and before he disappeared we were assigned to find those chosen. No digimon knows where or what he looks like but we know he’s hidden himself from Daemon.”

Kaito and the others were surprised of the situation in front of them. Hearing about the digital world knowing eventually they would come. Kaito looked directly at both Lunamon and Coronamon seeing their honest expression.

“What was your king like if you don’t mind me asking?” Kaito started to ask.

Lunamon and Coronamon looked at one another for a moment than at the others.

“No digimon of our knowledge has ever seen his true form though all we know is that he was a kind king and with the help of the royal knights kept peace and order in the digital world from afar.” Coronamon said.

Angelina and Zack walked closer to Coronamon and Lunamon as they started to see Lunamon shed some tears. Knowing that the digimon, were worried about their world.

“There, there Lunamon knowing Zack and I we’ll do everything we can to help. We have our digimon partners by our side we’ll be able to help restore your world.” Angelina reassured them with a heartwarming tone.

Zack nods in agreement and looks toward the others for agreement. Zack’s Salamon read Zack’s expression and spoke for him, while staying on top of his head.

“Well what about you guys are you in? My sister and I along with Angelina and Zack will do this for sure.” Zack’s Salamon said.

“Count me in, if it’s for both our worlds and it’s as bad as they say then Kaito and I will be able to handle the challenge. What about you guys, eventually your world will be involved?” Agumon X replied.

Kaito nodded with agreement, "You know I'll help you out buddy I've got your back."

"Minoru…?" Yaksamon started to say.

"Of course my friend, I want to help too." Minoru smiled.

The others agreed, and reassured the digimon that they would help too.

They then proceeded into the DSM building without being seen by the employee’s working and went to his own private office. Luckily it was a Sunday so it wasn’t as busy, in that office Minoru had started to monitor the digital surges within the data systems of the internet.
Zack pulled out his laptop, as it showed charts with spike readings of the next one that would likely occur. With his Salamon and Angelina as his voices they started to tell the other what he had shown.

“So as you can see these were the results of digital surges that came a week ago, where we’re from the digital surges happened at a low rate but digimon were able to appear and at the same time we received our partners.” Angelina explained.

“Yeah and we’ve managed to keep our existence a low key, since Zack and Angelina became our partner’s.” Angelina’s Salamon said.

“Yeah but, as the week progressed the digital surges increased that’s when the world wide data surges happened opening rifts that larger digimon passed through.” Zack’s Salamon added.

“So this has gone on longer?” Tsuki questioned.

“Yes they’re right Tsuki, from what my data has gathered, the digital worlds instability has made our worlds data systems glitch. Even with the data surges happening, power outages have occurred more, and even reports of abnormal radio waves in our atmosphere.” Minoru replied.

“Yes, that’s why we need you guys to keep it in balance between our world.” Coronamon said.

The group stood silent for a moment, Kaito was in deep thought as it all started to make sense to him, knowing that this was not a coincidence.

Looking at the digimon  and Agumon X Kaito decides to go back outside for fresh air. The others stayed inside and continued to see what Zack and Minoru had on the data surges.
Though Agumon X notices that Kaito is gone begins to follow with Hiroyuki and Candlemon close behind.

Outside of the building

Once outside Kaito with his lucky baseball starts to throw it in the air thinking about what the digital world must be like and if he’d be able to help Agumon X digivolve.

“Kaito, why’d you come outside by yourself?” Agumon X said from behind him.

Kaito turned around with a surprised look. “Oh sorry Agumon X just wanted to get some fresh air that’s all.”

“I can tell you’ve got something in mind, I can sense it.” Agumon X replied.

“Well I know it’s been a few days since we became partners, but I guess it’s a little overwhelming. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad we are partner’s it’s just so much excitement. It almost reminds me of one of my dad’s movies; where theses three characters go on crazy adventures and it made me feel like that.” Kaito said while throwing his baseball to Agumon X.

Agumon X caught the ball with his two right claws throwing it back to Kaito.

“I know it's been short time but, I can tell you this Kaitio. I’ve enjoyed being in this world since I first hatched and glad we’re friends.” Agumon X replied again.

“Agumon X thanks that means a lot.”  Kaito smiled.

Hiroyuki and Candlemon both had overheard Kaito and Agumon X and started to talk.

“Agumon X is right Kaito we’re all a little overwhelmed even my sister Tsuki is to, even though we are chosen to help them. I know we can get through this like how you’ve pulled through in your baseball games leading the team. Besides I know if it wasn’t for you and Frie Tsuki and Impmon wouldn’t be as close as they are now.” Hiroyuki said.

Candlemon came closer to Hiroyuki patting his shoulder, “Yeah, my brother and I may be troublesome but all we want is to be able to live life to the fullest, and Hiroyuki has been supportive. Cause no one else seems to like how we are.”

“Hiroyuki, Candlemon thanks you two.” Kaito said.

Suddenly the digivices of Kaito and Hiroyuki started to react making sounds alerting them of a digital surge occurring in their area. A digital field formed and covered the area with a digital mist.

Both Agumon X and Candelmon readied themselves in front of their human partners.
The sky opened a rift as a digimon appeared on the ground in front of them. Its physical form emerged and a large centaur like digimon with a humanoid half wearing a roman helmet and horse like body.

Hiroyuki gulped in fear knowing this was his first digimon battle. Kaito stood his ground as he signaled Agumon X to prepare, the surrounded area became engulfed in a digital field creating a dense fog.

"So this world already has digimon here, pathetic the weak fleeing from new order." The digimon said.

"What's that supposed to mean, your here to aren't you." Candelmon spoke.

"I'm here under orders, by the Gold and Silver siblings Kinkakumon and Ginkakumon. I am Centarumon." Centarumon introduced itself.

Hiroyuki’s digi-tab showed Centarumon’s information. This made Kaito and Hiroyuki with their digimon prepare themselves for battle. Agumon X confronted Centarumon who had his cannon pointed directly at them.

"We won't let you hurt our friends Centarumon!" Agumon X said launching his first attack.

Centarumon blocked the attack with his cannon and Candelmon jumps from behind attacking with his Bonfire attack firing a small flame. The attack didn't affect Centarumon though as he still stood tall. Growing impatient with the digimon and their humans Centarumon readied himself and looked directly at Kaito and the others.

"Under the orders of Kinkakumon and Ginkakumon you all shall be terminated for your treason of d Daemon! Now take this Hunting Cannon...!" Centarumon shouted.

The blast of the attack almost hit them luckily the digimon dodged, but were hurt.

"Watch out Hiroyuki!" Candlemon pushed Hiroyuki to the ground.

"No Agumon X!" Kaito yelled as Agumon X used himself as a shield for Kaito.

Kaito ran towards a passed out Agumon X who was injured by Centarumon's attack. The attack hit close to the DSM building causing a tremor inside.

The others who were looking at the data analysis of the data surges quickly assumed it was a digimon as the digital surge occurred again and ran to where Kaito and Hiroyuki were.

"Kobayashi that idiot I hope he didn't let Hiroyuki get hurt out there." Tsuki said as she ran.

"Don't worry; Candlemon is with Hiroyuki he won't let him get hurt." Impmon said running alongside Tsuki.

"I doubt that they are, I'm sure they're alright Kaito and Agumon X must be fighting back." Minoru replied.

"Salamon's it's time to digivolve!" Both Angelina Zack said out loud.

"Alright...!" Both Salamon sisters cheered.

"You to Impmon let’s help!" Tsuki added.

Impmon nods as the three digimon digivolved into their champion forms. They eventually reach the ground floor from running down three flights of stairs.

Wizardmon and Yaksamon went on ahead and made it to where the action was. As they arrived they saw Centarumon who was giving Agumon X and Candelmon a hard time.

"Kaito, Hiroyuki, are you two alright?" Wizardmon said getting close to them.

"We're alright... Agumon X though he jumped in front of me and he protected us." Kaito started to say.

"Well you don't have to worry we got this Gabumon X." Cynthia said with confidence.

"Yes." Gabumon X replied.

Gabumon X began to digivolve to Garurumon X and the others were amazed with Garurumon X sheer size. With determination Cynthia directed Garurumon X to attack Centarumon. Though Centarumon was no fool and leaped high as Garurumon X charged in.

"He missed!?" Cynthia said with shock.

"So an all-out assault well I'll fix that then, come my warriors and show theses digimon the new order that's been promised!" Centarumon ordered.

Suddenly more digimon came through a digital rift behind Centarumon ready to face off the children and the digimon. A group of five Hagurumon came from the portal and were ready to take orders
These Hagurumon appeared as gears the size of lions.

"Centarumon we'll rid theses traitors and their humans for you!" the head Hagurumon said.

"Very well this will be enjoyable then, make sure these weaklings don't see the light of day." Centarumon ordered.

The group of Hagurumon started to charge at the children and digimon. The children with their digimon readied themselves as the digimon stood at the front lines ready to retaliate.
The lead Hagurumon went after Agumon X and Kaito as the others faced off the other Hagurumon, Angelina and Zack with their Gatomon's, Minoru with Yaksamon, Tsuki and Wizardmon, and Cynthia with Garurumon X facing off in the battle. They all fought back making sure the Hagurumon stood down.
Hiroyuki stayed with Candlemon and the two digimon Lunamon and Coronamon.

"For the new order, Darkness Gear...!" The lead Hagurumon shot our black clogs from its face.

"Baby Burner...!" Agumon X back evening out the fight.

"Awesome Agumon X Let's even the playing field now Digi-surge... upload, speed-boost attribute!" Kaito said.

Suddenly a burst of energy shrouded Agumon X giving him an edge to fight back. As the attack from the lead Hagurumon approached them, with Agumon X speed managed to counter with a Spitfire causing a shroud of smoke.

"Kaito's got the good idea now let's jump in Yaksamon, everyone!" Minoru signaled.

"You heard him Gatomon sisters let’s make sure they don't hurt anyone!" Angelina cheered.
Zack prepared his digitab typing at fast speed to give his support to his Black Gatomon.
They nodded as they fought back.

The children with their partner digimon were encouraged and ready to fight back, as they saw how determined Kaito and Agumon X were on winning the battle. As for the others Minoru with Yaksamon managed to defeat the Hagurumon with Ittouryoudan releasing a strong shockwave to it and proceeded to assist the others.

Cynthia with Garurumon X fought back strong to not giving the Hagurumon a chance to fight back.  Angelina and Zack with their Gatomon's fought back as the two children used their digi-tabs to upload the digimon with a status boost. Giving them the opportunity they needed to fight back. As for Tsuki and Wizardmon staying together as the Hagurumon they faced were attacking with Crash Device making it self-destruct on them.

Wizardmon quickly covered Tsuki from the explosion getting away in time. The blast damaged the walls of the large ally way that was behind the DSM Center.

"Are you alright Tsuki?" Wizardmon asked helping Tsuki back up.

"Yes, thank you Wizardmon." Tsuki thanked.

"What about my brother and Candelmon" Tsuki worried.

"They're fine; they're with Lunamon and Coronamon." Wizardmon replied.

Centarumon spectated on and seen the children with their digimon and quickly seen who would be his first target.

"Now leave the human world and never come back... Magic Game!" Wizardmon fought back.

"That's the way Wizardmon let's do our part Candlemon Digi-surge... upload defense attributes!" Hiroyuki said.

Candlemon was engulfed a digital surge proceeded to help out, as it came rushing in to help Agumon X leaving Hiroyuki with Lunamon and Coronamon.

"Have some Melted Wax...!" Candelmon said flapping its arms at the lead Hagurumon.

"Whaa... eww that’s just gross nasty wax my gears are getting stuck." The lead Hagurumon said in disgust.

"That's great Candelmon you did it! Now it's up to the others." Hiroyuki cheered.

This created the opportunity for the others to fight back and as they defeated the Hagurumon group, they disbursed into data particles that were then uploaded into the children’s digitabs. Lunamon and Coronamon spectated from the sideline’s seeing what the children and their digimon partners were capable of.

Now only one Hagurumon was left and the children and their digimon got in closer to corner it. With Yaksamon doing the final blow, they managed to defeat the Hagurumon.

Suddenly

“It’s time for you to surrender Centarumon and go back to where you came from.” Kaito said.

“Yeah…!” Everyone else added.

“Yeah, we don’t need any digimon like you messing with our friends!” Agumon X said.

“Oh what ever shall I do, a bunch of brats with their weak digimon cornered me ha don’t make me laugh.” Centarumon smirked.

Cynthia started to get frustrated, and walked forward closer to Garurumon X.

“Garurumon X and I will take you on, we won’t let you win.” Cynthia said with a determined look.

“Right, you will leave this place at once, howling blaster!” Garurumon X charged in as it howled a large breath of ice.

Centarumon stepped back a bit, and its front legs had been frozen, it became angry as Garurumon X leaped and bit Centarumon’s left arm. The other digimon joined in and attacked from all sides. The tide seemed to turn and the children seemed confident until Centarumon smirked.

Centarumon with a burst of energy from its body disburse and blasted the digimon back.

“No Garurumon X!” Cynthia said rushing to Garurumon X side.

Centarumon had used his move Hunting Cannon, and blasted Garurumon X to the ground knocking him out hard. The children Lunamon, and Coronamon were in shock. The other digimon who were also attacking were blown back as well. Al the children, Lunamon and Coronamon went with the digimon.

“It’s no use Hiroyuki that digimon is way too tough for us…” Candlemon said weak from the attack.

“Relax now Candlemon you did great…” Hiroyuki replied.

“I’m sorry as well Minoru…” Yaksamon said as he struggled to get up from his knees.

“No worries Yaksamon, this digimon’s attributes are more of brute force giving you a disadvantage.” Minoru said helping Yaksamon up with his shoulder.

“Wizardmon I’m so sorry I…” Tsuki started to say.

“Don’t say anymore… it’s my fault for being careless….” Wizardmon said calmly and looked on to the Gatomon’s who were passed out.

“Zack this isn’t good our poor Gatomon and Black Gatomon what should we do?” Angelina said with worry.

Zack tightened his right fist as he stood up; looking at Angelina and their digimon he soon got an idea.

Zack with his digitab did some modifications and pointed it out to his digimon. Black Gatomon became engulfed in surge of energy and the energy transferred to her sister Gatomon. Both Gatomon’s awakened with a burst of energy. This made both have enough power to use Neko Kick causing Centarumon to fight back.

Hoping that would stall Centarumon, Kaito was soon filled with courage in his heart seeing Zack and Angelina with their digimon still fighting back.

Agumon X then lifted himself up and looked at Kaito, "I won't give up, he maybe big but I don't want you guys to get hurt, especially you Kaito." Agumon X said.

Kaito surprised looked at his digimon partner and a spark lit his right eye.

“Yeah Agumon X you're right no matter what we have to fight back I know we can win we have to stay strong and protect our friends Agumon X I’m with you all the way!” Kaito shouted to his digimon.

Suddenly Kaito’s digivice reacted with Kaito’s emotions, causing Agumon X to digivolve into his new form. The children and their digimon were in awe as they saw this new form and Centarumon became surprised.

"That's the way, to do it!" Lunamon cheered.

"They did it; they manage to get to the next level." Coronamon added.

“So that Kaito kid manage to get Agumon X to digivolve after all and it says that he Greymon X has the same attacks like a regular Greymon interesting.” Cynthia said as she looked at her digitab.

“Cynthia I have to help… them.” Garururmon X said struggling to get himself up.

“Not in your condition Centarumon got to one of your weak spots I’m not letting you take that risk of losing you I just can’t let that happen. So in the meantime let’s see how Kaito handles this.” Cynthia said.

They looked on as Greymon X and Centarumon had a standoff and both began to charge at one another.

“Centarumon you won’t hurt Kaito and our friends Nova Blast!” Greymon X roared.

“We shall see, hunters cannon!” Centarumon replied.

They clashed and fought Greymon X whipped his tail with lots of force causing Centarumon to imbalance. This made Centarumon step back a moment analyzing Greymon X sheer size compared to his and seeing what would be best strategy. They clashed as both did their signature attacks a dust cloud hovered over them the earth rumbled like an earthquake causing that section of town going into a panic.

“I think now’s the best time to wrap this up, or else people may get hurt.” Minoru said.

“Agreed come on guys lets clean this mess up.” Angelina said pumping her arms.

"You guys have to use your digitabs together to help Greymon X fight back." Lunamon said.

"Then let’s do it Data-surge engage!" Tsuki pointed her digitab to Wizardmon.

The children did the same as the data-surges surrounded their digimon transferred to Greymon X.
Greymon X was soon engulfed with the data releasing a bright light blinding everyone, at the same time the digimon and their human partners had seen a vision. A shadow silhouette of a tall digimon with a blade at hand looking like it was charging into the battle. This startled the children and surprised the digimon who felt a familiar feeling seeing that digimon.

With that maneuver and power Greymon X managed to throw off Centarumon and used Nova Blast to defeat Centarumon.

After they recovered from the blinding light Kaito looked on hoping Greymon X was alright as it cleared both digimon stood still further apart from one another. Then Centarumon fell to the ground. The kids and the digimon cheered as they got closer to Greymon X.

“You did it Greymon X you did it!” Kaito cheered.

Greymon X smiled as he helped Kaito climb up his shoulder. Kaito patted Greymon X showing his confidence.

“Um… Angelina how is Greymon X going to hide now if he’s in this form?” Gatomon questioned.

“Oh good point I don't know.” Angelina replied.

The children with their digimon fell over from Angelina’s cheerful reaction and Zack shrugged knowing how Angelina was.

“Kaito are you guys hurt?” Greymon X questioned.

“No we’re all fine, thanks to you buddy we made it out okay.” Kaito replied.

“Kaito, Greymon X you two were awesome!” Hiroyuki said with admiration.

“Not bad Kobayashi I owe you for not getting us killed.” Tsuki added.

The children and their digimon partners surrounded Kaito and Greymon X as they cheered. As they regrouped Greymon X degenerated back to his rookie form but as the data field was about to disappear, Centarumon got himself back to his feet with heavy injuries sustained he opened a digital portal. The children looked on with terror and the digimon stood in front of the children.

“Hey I beat you!” Agumon X said.

“Out of sheer luck you brats haven’t seen the last of me, we will meet again.” Centarumon threatened.

“We’ll be ready.” Kaito remarked.

“YEAH!” The others added.

Digital World: Gold and Silver Base

Centarumon scowled as he went back into the digital portal, and left the digimon children.

Centarumon went back to the digital world to the layer of his superiors but to his surprise two dark type digimon a humanoid female digimon in gold wielding a bat mace and am male silver armored demon were waiting for him.

“Ugh… Gold and Silver siblings, Kinkakumon and Ginkakumon you were waiting?!” Centarumon bowed.

“So did you accomplish your mission Centarumon?” Kinkakumon questioned.

“No I did not; the reports were true there are humans aligning with digimon in the human world.” Centarumon reported.

“So you failed and a bunch of children with digimon, beat you disgraceful. Kinkakumon sister allow me to punish this fool for his failure.” Ginkakumon tightened his fist.

“Please give me a second chance of redemption my lords!” Centarumon pleaded.
Ginkakumon stood ready to attack but, Kinkakumon put her hand to her brothers’ face, as she walked closer and grabbed Centarumon by the neck.

“We’ll allow this second chance but if you fail again you will be permanently deleted and be absorbed by our lord.” Kinkakumon gripped harder.

“Ugh, u-under… stood.” Centarumon gasped.

Kinkakumon released her grip letting Centarumon drop to the floor as he struggles back to his feet touching his neck.

“Good Daemon does not want any more digimon to leave. Now that humans are involved he won’t be pleased.” Kinkakumon explained.

“But, sister now humans are involved what difference will this make. They are weak insects." Ginkakumon snickered.

"Don't under-estimate the humans they could be a lot stronger than we think." Kinkakumon replied.
Kinkakumon stared into her brothers’ eyes in deep thought, of what would be next for them.
