Wizardmon's idea

Previously:

The children and their digimon finally regrouped and met the chosen children from the west, at the same time Coronamon and Lunamon explained the Digital World's situation. The children and their digimon decide to help Coronamon and Lunamon ultimately leading to the encounter with Centarumon.

Moments After Centarumon's attack

"Centarumon works for the Gold and Silver Sibling's, so it's a matter of time he will return with reinforcements." Zack said analyzed his digi-tab.

"Zack..."Angelina said.

The group looks at Zack as they had their meeting, being held behind the D.S.M. building. They were concerned what Centarumon would plan next, now that  they had a taste of what they're facing.

"He is right everyone, our best bet is to regain our energy and plan out what to do next." Kaito added.

"That's fine with us, right Yaksamon?" Minoru turned towards his digimon.

"Yes, and when I get a chance I'll investigate nearby areas that could possible open a new data-stream field." Yaksamon explained.

"Of course we'll help to, right Lunamon." Coronamon punmped his arms.
Lunamon smiled and nodded with agreement.

"Knowing Centarumon he will return, so be careful everyone." Lunamon warned.

They all nod then the group go their separate ways and rest up for the next day. As for Tsuki and Heroyuki they both were concerned sensing a stiffness in the air.

"Wizardmon, Candelmon..." Tsuki started to say as they were half way home.

"Yes?" Wizardmon said while reading his book.

"Yeah?" Candelmon added.

"You both should keep yourselves in low profile, if Centarurmon returns." Tsuki said.

"We'll be fine." Candelmon replied.

"Candelmon my sis is serious, she is a miko in training." Heroyuki pointed out.

"Tsuki if the day comes we will be ready, so don't worry." Wizardmon said calmly.  

Tsuki looked at them and smiled as Wizardmon took a quick glance at her then back into his book noticing her uncertainty in her eyes while they were returning to the Abe shrine. Wizardmon suddenly had an idea.

So Wizardmon waited till it got dark, and as the Abe family was fast asleep, he goes to Heroyuki's room to wake up Candelmon.  

"Psst, hey Candelmon get up!" Wizardmon whispered.

"Meh, mmh wha... what do you want Wizardmon I want to sleep." Candelmon said shewing with his arm.

"Candelmon this is important, I figured out a way to blend in wih the human's." Wizardmon whispered.

Candelmon widened his eyes with disbelief. They left Heroyuki's room to a private space in the back yard area. Wizardmon with his staff stood tall and Candelmon became nervous.

"What are you going to do with that?" Candelmon questioned.

"Glad you asked you're going to be my first test subject." Wizardmon smirked proudly.

"What, no!" Candelmon replied.

All you could hear was a gasp as the sound of bats flying in the night sky.


Next Day

The children with their digimon partners went on their day Kaito, Minoru, Tsuki, and her brother Heroyuki had gone to school. As the others Zack, Angelina, and Cynthia had gone to Zack's family summer home.

During that time Wizardmon managed to gather the digimon for his plan, to surprise their human friends at Ueno Park.

"So why are we here at the park?" Agumon X questioned.

"Yes Wizardmon is this another one of your tricks?" Yaksamon questioned as well.

"No, no tricks it's just I started thinking of a new way to get around the city without being noticed." Wizardmon explained.

"Really, how so?" Gabumon X tilted his head curiously.

"Oh I really want to know, please tell us Wizardmon!" Gatomon pleaded cheerfully.

"I'm in, let's hear it already." Black Gatomon waved her front paws.

Wizardmon signaled Candelmon toward him, "I'll show you."

Wizardmon waved his staff as a reluctant Candelmon was not feeling ready for what was next.

The digimon soon were surprised and in aw of what they witnessed, Candelmon transforming into a human. The the magic from Wizardmon's staff soon faded Candelmon appeared as a young school boy with reddish-orange hair, with reddish brown eyes. Wearing a white shirt with a gold belt and necklace, with purple leopard printed pants and red boots.

The digimon surrounded Candelmon with aw, making him feel very shy. Wizardmon smiled and felt proud as he witnessed their reaction.

"So what do you think everyone?" Wizardmon smirked.

The digimon looked at him. Agumon X, Gatomon ran up to Wizardmon followed by the others.
"Can you do me next!" Agumon X cheerfully asked.

"Yes me too! Wizardmon this could actually work." Gatomon cheered.

"Sis has a point, this could help us cover more ground and take a load off our partners." Black Gatomon added.

The others nodded in agreement. Candelmon looked at Wizardmon and nodded signaling to try it out on them, Wizardmon returned the gesture and gathered the group in a line.

One by one Wizardmon talked to the digimon and helped them decide on the forms they would choose. With the wave of his wand starting with Agumon X then the rest of the group and himself.
They all became amazed as they saw one another and became very cheerful.
Agumon X, Yaksamon, and Gabumon X looked at one another and Agumon X started to pull on Yaksamon and Gabumon X with amazement.

"Whoa, you two look great! Yaksamon you're so tall, red hair like a human and you Still have your backpack! Gabumon X you look so fancy with your clothes it matches your blue hair." Agumon X examined both Yaksamon and Gabumon X.

Yacksamon wore a grey vest with black spandex and boots still had his back pack plus on both hands gauntlets. Gabumon X light blue polo shirt, and with pants with blue strips.

Gabumon X shrugged, "I could say the same for you Agumon X with your yellow tank top with blue stripes, plus the spiky yellow hair."

They soon look over at the Gatomon sisters who were very impressed how they turned out.

"Are you kidding look at us, we're twins!" Gatomon cheered.

"Ugh yeah sis, we both decided this, but I chose more of the goth aproach with black hair and with torn up looking black clothes, and black boots. While you chose similar clothing but in lighter colors with that tan tank top, jean pants-shorts and white boots." Black Gatomon described while observing themselves.

"Well what about you, Wizardmon?" Gatomon questioned.

"Yeah, all that is left as you." Gabumon X added.

Wizardmon smirked, and held his staff proudly.

"Well glad you asked this is what I came up with." Wizardmon held his staff in the air.

His body had glowed bright forming a human body as the digimon began to aw, both Gatomon sister jaws dropped with amazement as Wizard completed his transformation.

"Your'e so tall, Wizardmon and your hair it's white like mine." Gatomon examined Wizardmon closely.
Candelmon looked at Wizardmon closely as well an was impressed.

"You retained some of your clothing, too. I like the jacket too." Candelmon added.

"Yes, that's the point anyway, you two Lunamon, Coronamon will you also join us?" Wizardmon glared at a nearby bush.

Lunamon and Coronamon both jumped out with a surprised expression knowing they were caught spying.

"Um Wizardmon no, we're good right, Lunamon...?" Coronamon paniced.

Lunamon shyly glanced at the digimon turned human, "N-no we'll manage on our own Wizardmon. But thank you for considering us."  

Wizardmon nodded then continued with his plan while all the digimon waited until their human partners returned from their daily activities, to surprise them.

Four Hours Later

Kaito, Minoru, and Tsuki had left as soon as the last bell of the day rang, and quickly regrouped with Heroyuki, and the other chosen children Cynthia, Angelina, and Zack.

"Well knowing our digimon they're at Ueno park waiting for us." Kaito started to jog.

"Hopefully they haven't gotten into any trouble." Cynthia replied.

"They should be fine, I mean it's only been a couple of weeks since they've been in our world. So they should be able to adapt by now." Zack replied.

"Let's hope so..." Tsuki added.

They proceeded to Ueno park but as they approached at their meeting spot, to the children's surprise they didn't see their digimon. Instead they had seen the digimon in their human disguises.

"Where are the digimon sis?" Heroyuki questioned his sister.
Tsuki becoming concerned,"I don't know, I hope they didn't go off and..."

Gatomon and Black Gatomon began to giggle like school girls, which Zack started to catch on quick as well as Minoru.

Zack looks where the human Wizardmon was standing and notices his staff. Tapping Angelina's shoulder signaling her of the digimon.

Angelina smiled and nodded as she realized what Zack meant, walking forward toward the digimon.

Looking at each one of the digimon seeing their new human forms, then turning to the children and winked, "I don't know you guys if they're not here they are probably at the D.S.M. building."

The children curiously looked at Angelina not knowing what she meant. Then right on cue Agumon X waved his arms.
"Wait, wait, Kaito no it's me Agumon X- Antibody!" Agumon X waved his arms.

Soon the digimon all started to react to Angelina's word not wanting their partners to leave.

"Agumon X...? Y-you're a human now?" Kaito became surprised.

"Yep thanks to Wizardmon!" Agumon X smiled.

"Really...?" Tsuki questioned as she took a good look at Wizardmon's human diguise as she blushed, trying to comprehend.

Gabumon X and Cynthia took a moment and stared at one another.

"Yep it's true, what do you think Cynthia?"

"Wow, this is something else I'm surprised but, you look great Gabumon X." Cynthia smiled.

Gabumon returned the gesture as Cynthia hugged him.

Both Gatomon sisters went to their human partners and circled them as Gatomon hugged Angelina, and Black Gatomon wrapped her arms around Zack's left free arm.

"Well this is different." Kaito said.

"You're telling me, who knew that Wizardmon had this ability." Minoru replied observing the digimon.

"So Wizardmon what made you do this?" Cynthia showing her curiosity.

Wizardmon stood on top of a nearby table, as he started to reflect back, "Since we first arrived we've known it's been hard on you kids, that we've caused trouble..."

Wizardmon directed his eye contact at Tsuki, knowing the stuff he did as Impmon when they first met.

"So I came up with this plan to help blend in the human world." Wizardmon continued.

"Well Wizardmon we got to hand it to you it worked it even fooled us." Tsuki replied.

Wizardmon smiled and then they all decided to spend the day living among-st the humans which gave them time to grow a stronger bond.

When it came time for them to go their separate ways the children and their digimon all prepaired for what their families would react Kaito, he and Agumon X where careful when introducing Agumon X to Kaito's family and tried to hide Agumon X bad habit of over indulging food. For Minoru he told his parents that Yaksamon was just an acquaintance from a after school club. For Tsuki and Heroyuki was a bit difficult for them since their digimon were boys and their grandmother would question. As for the others it was no problem surprisingly Zack's father trusted Zack, Angelina, and Cynthia.

Kobayashi Household

"So what did you say your name was again?" Kaito's father said at the dinner table.

Kaito looked a little nervous as he saw his digimon continue to eat heavily, "It's ah... it's Yuuta! Dad."

Agumon X nodded as he soon remembered he had to act normal. Kaito's family began to stare at Agumon X and Kaito. Though Kaito was nervous and it looked awkward.

"Crap if they suspect something strange Agumon X could get..." Kaito thought.

"Well glad to see you got a big appetite Yuuta, my wife's cooking is always great!" Kaito's dad smiled proudly.

"Yeah mom you're the best!" Reia said.

"Hey Yuuta want to play games after dinner?" Ringo questioned.

Agumon X was curious, and happily agreed, "Sure."

"Kaito, you too bro!" Ringo scolded.

"Okay, okay." Kaito waved his arms.

Kaito's family enjoyed the rest of their evening with Agumon X unaware of his true form. Kaito being relieved, and at the same time happy that his family was able to see the joy Agumon X brought to everyone.

Kaito's mother brought out the second course, "Well kids eat up it's alway good to eat some healthy foods to stay focus in school, and work."

"Mom don't you think that's a bit much?" Kaito said felling full.

"Now, now, it's fine I want to make sure your friend Yuuta feels welcomed." His mom explained.

Kaito soon realized of his mothers actions and paused, seeing how welcoming both his parents were; his mother being so kind, his father being welcoming.

As thing's calmed down after dinner, Agumon X learned how to play video games from Kaitos sibling's Ringo, and Reia. Agumon X had fun of course and Kaito was happy, but then Kaito started to see his father getting ready to leave again.

"Dad, how long will you be gone this time?" Kaito said as he entered the office.

"Hey, Kaito. Well at least three months is the time frame. Last assignment I had to meet with a producer for a week but, it looks like they want me to be fully on board with the project now." Kaito's father explained.

"Oh, okay." Kaito became depressed.

"Hey, now I'll be back before you know it." Kaito's father reassured him.

"Yeah, I know." Kaito replied.

"Besides, summer is around the corner, and you'll have you're friends to be with. So, it won't be so bad you'll have your own adventures." Kaito's dad reassured again.

Kaito shook his head to get the depressed feeling out of his system. Knowing his dad had no idea of Agumon X, and what he's gone through recently.

"Yeah, you're right dad." Kaito replied again cheerfully.

Suddenly Agumon X ran looking for Kaito, "Kaito there you are I just won against Ringo at Super Alleyway Fighter 4!"

Agumon X grabbed Kaito by his right wrist pulling him to the family room. As Kaito's dad smiled and watched them leave thinking, "Kaito is still young but it looks like he'll be in good hands now, one day he will find his way."

Frei Household

As for Minoru's family they were skeptical about Yaksamon but with Minoru word's of persuasion he managed to get them to agree for him to stay.

"I'm so glad that my parents managed to get you to stay Yaksamon." Minoru said in a low voice.

"Yes but the name Kyou?" Yaksamon replied.

"Don't worry about it, it's something that came at the top on my head, at least they bought it." Minoru said.

Suddenly Minoru's father appeared, Minoru and Yaksamon stood up straight as he came near them.

Minoru's father stared at Yaksamon getting a closer look at him for the moment.

"You boys get some rest and no late-night gaming, you know how your mother gets Minoru. Also Kyou make yourself at home." Minoru's father said.

Minoru and Yaksamon looked at one another then bowed there head towards Minoru's father as both said, "Yes, sir."

Minoru's father walked away with nothing else to say knowing  his son had his own things to do.

Yaksamon looked at Minoru's father curious of his reaction, "Even now his father is distant, but I can't help having this familiar feeling that I've done this before."

Suddenly a blurred pink image flashed in Yaksamon's mind.
"We will go our own paths for our master even as the sun sets no matter how distant." It said.

"Yaksamon...?" Minoru said.

Yaksamon shook his head, and snapped out of his train of thought, "It's nothing, let's just go continue with our plans for the next battle."

Du Family Summer Home

Zack, Angelina, and Cynthia were  hanging out with their digimon partners as the evening progressed. They were surprised when they introduced their digimon in their disguises to Zack's father. Zack's father seemed down to earth type of person not questioning the situation.

"Zack you're father is too nice." Cynthia said.

Zack shrugged, "Well since him and my mom divorced dad's been trying real hard to be there for me, and my sister but it's been a bit difficult. I've basically had to teach myself to be more independent. Not to mention I could imagine my sister living with my mom how lonely she feels."

"That's right you're sister is the same age as Tsuki's brother, Heroyuki." Black Gatomon started to say.

"Yeah, that's right Mai..." Zack started to say.

"Well you've got us Zack!" Gatomon smiled while wraping her arms over Angelina, and Black Gatomon's shoulders.

Zack smiled, "That is true."

Angelina looked at Cynthia and Gabumon X, as they were out on the balcony looking up at the sky. Seeing them calm admiring the scenery, and decided to check on them as the others were distracted.

Cynthia looked at the brightest star she could find starting to reflect, "Oh Gabumon X, I can't believe all that has happened so far. I mean I use to be a girl that kept to herself always in my books. Then all of a sudden I met you at the park the same time Zack and Angelina met their partners."

"Yes but, I'm glad we've managed to do so much together. You helped me get accustomed to the human world and well I wouldn't have it any other way." Gabumon X said staring at Cynthia.

Cynthia and Gabumon X smiled at one another as their bond grew stronger. Angelina smiled as she also walked to the balcony.

"Well it looks like you both have become real close." Angelina said joining them at the balcony.

"Sempai...!" Cynthia said.

"How many times did I tell you not to call me that." Angelina said.

"Sorry it's just..." Cynthia started to say.

"I know, Cynthia ever since we met a couple years ago you were always alone studying." Angelina started to say.

Gabumon X looked at Angelina then at Cynthia, "Yes, she told me that once about how you bother were similar."

"Heck we're not so different I was alway alone but a socially awkward mess until I met Zack. It wasn't easy being the tom-boyish type at the same time being fragile in the inside." Angelina explained.

"Really...?" Gabumon said.

"Yeah my parents, were worrying about me a lot they always wanted to know where I was because I use to take martial arts and I would still get picked on... but since Zack came in as well as our digimon, they helped me gain a sense of independence." Angelina smiled looking at Tokyo Tower.

"Cynthia I know it's hard for you having parent's that constantly move due to their important job's. But just remember the lasting friendships made along the way." Angelina continued.
Both Cynthia and Gabumon X looked at Angelina with curiosity.

"Hey you two have each other, so always stay positive. It's never easy when things don't go your way. But together anything is possible." Angelina hugged Cynthia and Gabumon X.

They soon decided to leave the summer home and go out to a buffet for dinner enjoying their night with their digimon.

Abe Shrine

For Tsuki and Heroyuki it was a bit difficult they were trying to get their digimon to stay, hoping their grandmother would approve of them. Wizardmon and Candelmon did their best to blend in well.

As it came time for their dinner they all sat together in silence.
"Grandma." Heroyuki started to say.

"Yes Heroyuki?" Their grandmother said as she sipped her tea.

"Well is it possible for my friend Fudo and his brother, Akira stay with us for a little while.

Since their not doing well with their 'parents'. " Heroyuki explained while trying to come up with a cover story for the digimon.

Their Grandmother looked at Wizardmon and Candelmon for a moment and read their expressions. Wizardmon stayed calm, but Candelmon became a little pale. Wizardmon and Tsuki had noticed but couldn't keep their eye contact from the children's grandmother.

"Hmm... this does seem sudden, and yes this shrine has housed homeless before but this is different." Their Grandmother said.

"Well grandmother with all do respect, is their anything we can do." Tsuki asked.

"There is something, Akira was it? I'll make you a deal, if you do chores around the shrine and help out with heavy duty tasks you both can stay as long as you like." Their Grandmother looked directly at Wizardmon.

The kids and Candelmon looked at Wizardmon as he nodded, "Alright I'll do it."

"Well okay, then you can stay." Their Grandmother said.

They all smiled and were happy.
"Thanks Grandma!" Heroyuki hugged his Grandma.

"Thanks Grandma-Abe." Wizardmon bowed respectfully while making Candelmon bow too.

"No need to be so formal just call me Mickiko." Grandma Mickiko smiled.

Tsuki and Heroyuki were thrown off by their grandmother's informality.

But as the night progressed for them, Grandma Mickiko showed Wizardmon and Candelmon around as well as saying all the tasks and thing's Wizardmon and Candelmon would have to do for their chores. Then by the time it was for them to go to bed, Tsuki showed them to the guest room.

"Here you go you two this is it." Tsuki said calmly.

"This is different." Candelmon said as he got the futon's.

"It beats sleeping outside, that's for sure." Wizardmon said.

"Well good night you two, yeah good night!" Both Tsuki and Heroyuki said.

Heroyuki gave a hug to Candelmon and ran to his room. Tsuki was about to follow until Wizardmon held her right hand. Tsuki stopped as she turned and looked directly at Wizardmon in his human disguise, she blushed.

"Tsuki, good night." Wizardmon said calmly.

Tsuki regained her composure, "G-good night, Wizardmon."

Tsuki bowed formally then went to her room.

"I'll never understand human's." Candelmon said as he laid on his futon.
Wizardmon continued to stare into the dark, of the direction where Tsuki had gone.

Later that night

They all had fallen asleep now, though Wizardmon as he slept it was not pleasant. He was tossing and turning in his sleep. Grunting as sweat fell from his forehead.

Dream Sequence:

This place was a dark and gloomy as the sky filled blood red, as Wizardmon walked a voice was heard calling to him saying his name.

Wizardmon continues to walk the steps as he see's a large tree, at first it startles him as he glares at the tree.

"W-where is this place? This can't be the human world, or digital world, is it?"

"Do go..." A voice echoes softly.

Wizardmon looked around as he got closer to the tree, "Who's there?"

"Don't give in..." The voice said again.

Wizardmon ran to the tree as he saw what looked to be a thrown made of stone. Above were branches containing fruit's.

Then a sudden motoring roar echoes startling him as he turns he see's a tall red eyed shadow behind him that engulfs him.

Dream sequence ends...

Wizardmon awoke in cold sweat as he sat up and looked around the room, he saw Candelmon dead asleep snoring loud. Then Wizardmon touched his own face and grabed his staff.

Relieved he took a deep breath and decided to go to the back area of the shrine as he went to the Koi fish pond he found Mickiko sitting peacefully by the pond.

"Couldn't sleep?" Mickiko said.

"No." Wizardmon shook his head.

"Well sit down, let's chat." Mickiko patted the ground signaling him to sit.

They started to talk about the dream he had, not knowing what it meant, then described every detail as he remembered. Wizardmon was calm about it though, not wanting to show his fear that still lingered.

"I see, from what you told me, it could be a premonition dream." Mickiko said.

"Premonition?" Wizardmon questioned.

"Yes sometimes dreams, can link to past, present, or future events. Interperating them in different ways. " Mickiko explained.

Wizardmon widened his eyes. Thinking of the possibility he looked at the reflection of the moon on the koi fish pond. Mickiko noticed his uncertainty and knew what he worried about and proceeded to change the subject.

"Akira, my grandchildren really like you and your brother Fudo." Mickiko started to say.

"It's been a long time since seeing my grand-daughter smile so sincerely, her parents passing. I'm sure she's told you the whole thing, yes?" Mickiko questioned.

"Yes, she has." Wizardmon replied.

"Then I ask this of you, please watch over my grand-daughter Tsuki she is still trying to hold her burden on her own. I don' want her to lose sight of her own life." Mickiko said.

Wizardmon looked directly into her eyes and promised, "I promise."

A couple day's later

After a couple days had passed they all had time to get better acquainted with each other and with the digimon still in their human disguises. Kaito, and Angelina decided to set up a picnic to celebrate the summer vacation. Getting the group together as they gathered food and bento lunches they made to celebrate in Ueno Park.

Kaito smiled, as he raised his juice cup, "Here's to our new found friendship, and our digimon!"

"CHEERS...!" Everyone yelled as they rose their cups.

They all enjoyed themselves at the picnic, Coronamon and Lunamon both appeared as well and also enjoyed themselves during the nice sunny day with the group.

They all partied, and played games. The children decided to teach the digimon how to play volleyball. The digimon were able to get how to play but struggled trying to play as a team.

"Come on Agumon X think of this is training, it's to help you get focused." Kaito encouraged.

"Easy for you to say, you've played this longer." Agumon X passed the ball.

Gatomon hit the ball with her arms, "Now, now, we can do it."

"All it takes, is practice...!" The ball was passed to Yaksamon as he spiked the ball.

"Good one Yaksamon." Minoru cheered.

Yaksamon nodded with pride.

"You're doing great Candelmon!" Heroyuki cheered on as he hit the ball.

"Really..?!" Candelmon said gleefully as he tried to do an attack attempt on court.

"Coronamon don't you think this looks fun." Lunamon smiled while they were spectating.

"COME ON is that really an attack block, you guys can do better than that!" Coronamon cheered.

'Wow, I didn't think Coronamon would get into the game like this. Well I guess I can't blame him after what we went through." Lunamon thought.

They played a few rounds as the day went on, the digimon managed to win two out of three matches. The children were surprised but happy that they were able to help their digimon adjust to the human world.

"Gabumon X I'm really happy we managed to have this time together." Cynthia said as they were going to the nearest water fountain.

"I'm glad too, Cynthia." Gabumon X smiled.

They both smiled as they cooled off.

Gabumon X suddenly felt an uneasy feeling as he noticed the sky turning a little gray. The other digimon soon seance the same feeling as they quickly regrouped in front of their human partners.

Wizardmon had undone the spell the digimon were under to prepare for what was soon to appear.

"Angelina, Sis...!" Both Zack and Heroyuki said in a concern tones.

"I'm okay something really dark is coming." Angelina said to Zack.

"Heroyuki be on guard..." Tsuki said as she made her brother stand behind her.

Kaito looked in the direction of the darkened sky as he put his goggles over his eyes, "So it's you, Centarumon!"

"Heh, we meet again pests!" Centarumon soon emerged from the data stream.

The children and their digimon readied themselves unaware what awaited them in this next battle. The sky darkened even more as they saw Centarumon now before them.
